Journeying
This is a process in which a Shaman goes into an altered state of consciousness and has an out of body experience to bring about healing or retrieve energies for the seeker.

Smudging
This is a Native American blessing used to purify a person, place or object. It uses sacred herbs such as cedar and sage to create a pleasant smelling smoke that is fanned while prayers are said to bring about the blessing.
