Yoga is a practice that combines breath, asana (poses), meditation and connection to the Divine to open you to a new relationship with yourself and the world around you. It can increase health, strength and flexibility, relieve stress, deepen Spiritual understanding and awareness, and allow you grace and poise that translates off the mat and into everyday life.
The word Yoga means “union”. That is what I hope to bring to my clients through personal yoga lessons. I will work with you to develop your own personalized yoga practice to help you align your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual selves into balance and harmony. Energy and breath will be major focal points as we move through poses that are sequenced in a way that will leave you feeling energized, centered and connected.
I have had a personal Yoga practice for years and have recently undergone training to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. I have gone through personal life changes for the better, on every level, that I know are because of the deeper Yoga practice I have developed through my training. It is my intention to bring that same energy of change into each session I offer.
I am currently in the process of opening my own Yoga Studio!! Sage Studio will offer ongoing Yoga classes in the Hatha and Tantric traditions, as well as, my other services listed on this site. Sage Studio will offer classes for everyone from the beginning student to the advanced practitioner. Step into our beautiful space, take a deep breath and relax into a life affirming experience.
